Hello Everyone

As many of you already know, the long awaited health care debate is just around the corner.  On June 16th at 6 PM in room NA1-140 of the Lerner BLD, the Anesthesia Journal Club Series Presents: Naylor vs Williams: Health Care Reform: For Better or For Worse?  

Prior to the debate our hard working residents will present an educational introduction to the Health Care Reform. This will then be followed by The Debate

I anticipate a good crowd so please let me know ASAP if you are interested in attending (so I can have a semi accurate count for food etc..).  

By Friday evening I will try and e-mail a good source for this topic.  In doing so, I would appreciate any advise on good, easy to understand sources for the Health Care Reform that any of you have come across.

Also, if there are others that you think may be interested in attending, please forward this e-mail to them.

And, as in the past, I will be catering food from Anatolia's and we will have wine

In this session moderated by host Dr. Ali Jahan, we will be discussing Liu et al. 2005 meta-analysis in A&A along with Dr. Hadzic's editorial as well as a review by Nielsen and Steele in 2002. We will be reviewing what services we provide here at the Clinic and then evaluate the feasibility of using regional anesthesia in a private practice setting.
